Through Eyes of Blue

Since I have recently changed my degree plan from Physical Therapy to Communications, with an emphasis on Journalism, I am going to write articles on here to practice. Also, since I want to be a photojournalist, I am going to post pictures with my stories.

Relief

The dig did not start right away as planned. After going to the post office, the bank, Taco Bell for munchies, and Wal-Mart for a door insulator, the dig began. So roughly three hours after being told to dig a hole, we finally went out side to do it.
First, we had to pale out all the water from the leak with a bucket. Rather, Blake used the bucket and I used a gas station cup. Luckily the leak was only like a foot away from the pipe we could see when we started. We ended up digging about 5 feet in diameter of the leak. Blake and I scooped out the loose dirt with a cup and a baby shovel. My mom and dad went to Lowes while Blake and I finished up the last portion of the digging. They returned and put the fitting on. We've had no leaks so far.

Then I went on a walk and Garfield came with me. He killed the tranquility of it all with his constant "meow".
